Brussels will fully launch the so-called migration pact in June of this year.

• The specific date of entry into application is 12 June 2026, not just 'June 2026'. Official terminology uses 'enter into application' or 'apply from' rather than 'fully launch'. The Pact's legal instruments technically entered into force on 11 June 2024, but will only enter into full application in June 2026 after a two-year preparation period.
