Omissions

• The claim does not specify the time period. The most recent available data from Eurostat shows 8.2% for 2024, not 10%.
• The working poor rate has been declining: it was 9.2% in 2019, peaked at 9.5% in 2021, and has since decreased to 8.2% in 2024.
• The claim of 10% would only be accurate if referring to much older data (pre-2018) or if conflating EU data with specific member states that have higher rates.
