• Bulgaria actually has some of the lowest electricity prices in the EU, not among the highest
• When adjusted for purchasing power standards (PPS), Czechia and Germany have higher electricity prices than most of the countries mentioned
• The data shows significant variation among the five named countries - Cyprus has very high prices while Bulgaria has very low prices
• Electricity prices vary depending on whether measured in nominal euro terms or purchasing power standards (PPS)
