Omissions

• The most authoritative estimates (Real Instituto Elcano, El País) place the number at 50,000–60,000 over the whole episode (28–31 July), not 'more than 80,000'.
• The Spanish Ministry of the Interior's figure was around 50,000 entrants, of whom 48,300 returned voluntarily to Morocco.
• Estimates are contested and vary widely ('el baile de cifras'); the 80,000 figure corresponds to the very top of the most generous range published in some opinion pieces, not to a confirmed figure.
• The speaker's own EPP group press release reproduces the same 'more than 80,000' figure, i.e. it is not an independent source but the origin of the claim itself.
