The four shares are not published for a single, common reference period: the most recent figure found (14.8% for 2025/26) covers only one commodity, while the wheat, barley and sunflower-oil percentages come from pre-war (2021) or 2022/23 data.
Post-invasion shares fell sharply and only partially recovered: Ukraine's wheat export share dropped to about 5.3% and its barley share to about 6.8% in 2022/23 (WTI/Kyiv School of Economics, Oct 2023), so the '10% of wheat' and '15–20% of barley' figures reflect the pre-war situation rather than the most recent marketing year.
The '50% of global sunflower oil exports' figure matches pre-war values ('over 40%') and USDA's long-term projection ('about half of the global trade in sunflower seed meal and oil' by 2033) rather than a verified 2025/26 share; Ukraine's sunflower-oil share has been reported in the 40–50% range in recent years.
No primary statistical source (Eurostat, FAO, USDA PSD, WTO) was found publishing all four 2025/26 shares explicitly; the 2025/26 figure comes from a university extension presentation based on Ukrainian State Customs Service and APK-Inform data.
