Omissions

• Multiple independent outlets (RTVE, Levante-EMV, El Mundo Castellón al Día, Antena 3, El País) report the burned area as exactly 183 hectares, not 'more than 183' as the MEP stated; the difference is negligible (0%) and within normal estimation rounding for a fire still being stabilized on the day of the speech.
• The fire forced the evacuation of around 500 people from the nearby municipality of Azuébar; no injuries or deaths were reported in any of the sources consulted.
• The fire was declared at 2 (PEIF) alert level on 5 July 2026 and was stabilized at 17:15 on 6 July 2026, the same day the MEP spoke; figures were still provisional at the time of the statement.
