The disbursement occurred on 25 June 2026, about two weeks before the session date of 8 July 2026; the MEP could have known it from the Commission's own announcements.
By late June 2026 the Commission had also disbursed further instalments under other windows of the same loan (e.g. €3.47 billion under the defence window and €3.9 billion for drones), so €3.2 billion was the first MFA instalment, not the only disbursement under the loan.
