Between 2,000 and 4,000 cyberattacks occur daily in Poland.

Omissions

• The MEP presented the figure as established fact without citing its source: it originates from public statements by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski, i.e. the government's own assessment rather than an independent statistical study.
• All the reporting found derives from the same official statement, so the figure is not corroborated by genuinely independent original data.
• Other official figures use different definitions and are lower: the Ministry of Digital Affairs reported 682,000 cyber incident reports for 2025 (approximately 1,870 per day), and the government has separately cited around 300 attacks per day against critical infrastructure.
