Omissions

• The metric measures the share of planned hirings ('entrate programmate') that companies declare hard to fill, not 'professional profiles' as a stock; the two are close but not identical.
• The 2025 annual figure (47%) is the one that best supports 'nearly one in two'; 2026 monthly bulletins show a declining trend: 45.3% in March 2026 and about 42% in July 2026 (down from 45.4% in July 2025), so the speaker used the most favourable/older reading rather than the latest data before October 2026.
• The May 2026 Excelsior bulletin reported the difficulty of finding profiles falling below 43%, from 46.6% in May 2025.
