The claim omits the accompanying casualty figures documented by OHCHR (at least 45 civilians killed and 41 injured in those strikes).
The UN News articles confirming the drone strikes were published in late June and July 2026; the OHCHR data covers a period (6–28 June 2026) ending before the session date of 8 July 2026, so the MEP could have known it.
