In the last two weeks, Houthi attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport killed dozens of civilians and injured hundreds.

Omissions

• Reported fatalities from the Riyadh airport attacks were about 12–13 in the deadliest single strike and about 18 cumulatively for the week (Reuters, 11 October 2026) — 'more than a dozen', rather than 'dozens'.
• The claim asserts that all those killed were 'civilians', but reporting indicates the dead included a Saudia pilot and four Saudi nationals in one strike, and casualty figures were released by Saudi authorities without a full civilian/other breakdown.
• Only secondary sources (news agencies citing Saudi authorities) were available; no primary Saudi government/SPA or civil-defence publication with the casualty breakdown was found within the search budget.
• The speech also cited the Aden presidential palace attack (5 killed, 16 injured) and 'attacks against residential areas in Riyadh'; no independently reported casualty figures for the latter were found.
• The Houthis' own stated targeting claims (military airport infrastructure) are not acknowledged, so the framing that the airport itself was deliberately targeted as a civilian site is presented one-sidedly.
