• The increase is not strictly monotonic year-on-year: the at least 326 humanitarians killed in 2025 was below the record 383 killed in 2024, though 2025 remained far above pre-2023 levels and the 2023–2025 three-year total (over 1,000 killed) is the deadliest period ever recorded.
• The claim compares with the past ('hoje... mais') without naming a base year; the trend holds strongly against a decade ago (annual deaths roughly doubled to tripled) and against the record three-year period 2023–2025.
• Figures rely on the Aid Worker Security Database / UN OCHA counts, which are revised over time (e.g. 2024 was initially reported as 281 killed in November 2024, later finalised at 383).
