Omissions

• The exact figure of 150 victims does not appear in any source located; the highest documented figure is 141 deaths (NGO Caminando Fronteras, 4-5 August 2026), which is within ~6% of the claimed value.
• Official Spanish and Moroccan authorities reported substantially lower figures (82 dead on the Spanish side plus at least 14 on the Moroccan side, i.e. around 96), so the claim reflects the higher NGO/activist estimate rather than the official count.
• All located sources were published in late July and early August 2026, i.e. before the session date of 15 September 2026, so the MEP could have known them; however no source published before the session confirms a toll as high as 150.
