Underestimated

Today nuclear power represents only 15% of European electricity, compared to nearly a third in 1990.

Omissions

• The current data is significantly higher than the 15% claimed (23.3% according to Eurostat 2024)
• The declarant might be using data from 2022-2023 or data that excludes some countries, although even in those years the figure was above 20%
• The Eurostat source used was published in January 2026, after the session date (March 2026), but contains data from 2024 that the declarant might have known through preliminary statistics or previous updates
