Omissions

• The 1.26% figure is the Commission's PROPOSAL of 16 July 2025 and is expressed as a share of the AVERAGE EU GNI over the whole 2028-2034 period, not a fixed annual rate.
• The figure refers to the future MFF (2028-2034), not the currently applicable 2021-2027 MFF, whose ceiling was around 1.07% of EU GNI (rising to about 1.8% when NextGenerationEU is included).
